About Captain Bill

Captain Bill has lived in Texas for over 22 years. He is a full time fishing guide and lives in Rockport, TX.

Long an avid boater and fisherman, he previously owned boats that he fished In the Atlantic Ocean as well as the Gulf of Mexico, the Florida Straits and Florida Bay.

Bill continues to fish the off season in the Lower Laguna Madre and Florida Keys. Captain Bill “Z” is a Licensed Coast Guard Captain fully insured. He holds an OUPV and Master License. Bill is also a member of the National Association of Charterboat Operators and is in accordance with the DOT/USCG rules and regulations. In addition Captain Bill is a Certified Captain/Guide and member of the International Game Fish Association. Bill practices catch and release of trophy fish to preserve the natural fisheries of the Texas Coast. He can have a trophy fish mounted for you by King Sailfish Mounts while releasing the fish unharmed.
